Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 12, 2026

In short: your learning data stays on your device. The app shows ads from Google AdMob, and Google may use your device's advertising ID and similar data to show and measure those ads. You choose whether ads can be personalized.

1. Data we collect

We, the developer, do not collect any of your data. The app has no account or sign-in, and your progress and writing are never sent to us.

2. Data stored on your device

To remember your progress, the app keeps the following in a local database on your device only:

  • Lesson progress, earned badges and study days
  • Your writing history (the strokes you drew in lessons and tests)
  • Settings such as the app language

This data never leaves your device and we cannot access it. It may be included in your device's own backup (iCloud or Google) depending on your device settings; that backup is handled by Apple or Google, not by us.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app is free and shows ads from Google AdMob: a banner at the bottom of the home and category screens, and sometimes a full-screen ad after a badge test. To show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, Google may collect and process:

  • Your device's advertising ID (IDFA on iOS, advertising ID on Android)
  • Your IP address and the approximate location derived from it
  • How you interact with ads, and basic device and app information such as the model, OS version and app version
  • Diagnostic data about ad performance and crashes

Your choices:

  • iPhone and iPad: the app asks whether it may track you. If you do not allow it, ads are not personalized. You can change this any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
  • European Economic Area, UK and Switzerland: the app asks for your consent before showing personalized ads. You can change your choice any time in the app under Settings > Ad privacy settings.
  • Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings (Settings > Google > Ads, or Settings > Privacy > Ads).

4. Permissions

The app uses the internet only to load ads; learning works fully offline. It does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location or photos.

5. Sharing with third parties

Apart from the advertising data handled by Google AdMob as described above, we do not share any data with third parties. Your learning data is never shared.

6. Deleting your data

Uninstall the app to delete all of its data on your device. On Android you can also clear it in Settings > Apps > Hangul > Storage > Clear storage. To limit advertising data, use the choices in section 3.

7. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

8. Changes to this policy

If a future version handles data differently, we will update this page and the effective date before that version is released.

1. 개발자가 수집하는 정보

2. 기기에 저장되는 정보

학습 진도를 기억하기 위해 다음 정보를 기기 안의 데이터베이스에만 저장합니다.

  • 학습 진도, 받은 뱃지, 학습한 날
  • 쓰기 기록 (학습과 시험에서 직접 쓴 획)
  • 앱 언어 같은 설정

이 정보는 기기 밖으로 나가지 않으며 개발자도 볼 수 없습니다. 기기 설정에 따라 iCloud나 Google 기기 백업에 포함될 수 있으며, 이 백업은 Apple 또는 Google이 관리합니다.

3. 광고 (Google AdMob)

앱은 무료이며 Google AdMob 광고를 보여 줍니다. 홈과 카테고리 화면 아래에 배너 광고가 나오고, 뱃지 시험이 끝난 뒤 가끔 전체 화면 광고가 나옵니다. 광고를 보여 주고 성과를 측정하며 부정 행위를 막기 위해 Google은 다음 정보를 수집·처리할 수 있습니다.

  • 기기의 광고 ID (iOS의 IDFA, Android의 광고 ID)
  • IP 주소와 이를 바탕으로 한 대략적인 위치
  • 광고와의 상호작용, 기기 모델·OS 버전·앱 버전 같은 기본 정보
  • 광고 성능과 오류에 관한 진단 정보

선택할 수 있는 방법:

  • iPhone, iPad: 앱이 추적을 허용할지 묻습니다. 허용하지 않으면 맞춤형이 아닌 광고가 나옵니다. 설정 > 개인정보 보호 및 보안 > 추적에서 언제든 바꿀 수 있습니다.
  • 유럽경제지역, 영국, 스위스: 맞춤형 광고 전에 동의를 묻습니다. 앱의 설정 > 광고 개인정보 설정에서 언제든 바꿀 수 있습니다.
  • Android: 기기 설정(설정 > Google > 광고 또는 설정 > 개인정보 보호 > 광고)에서 광고 ID를 재설정하거나 삭제할 수 있습니다.

4. 접근 권한

인터넷은 광고를 불러올 때만 사용하며, 학습은 인터넷 없이도 됩니다. 카메라, 마이크, 연락처, 위치, 사진 접근 권한은 요청하지 않습니다.

5. 제3자 제공

위의 Google AdMob 광고 관련 정보 외에는 제3자에게 제공하는 정보가 없습니다. 학습 기록은 제공하지 않습니다.

6. 정보 삭제

앱을 삭제하면 기기 안의 모든 데이터가 함께 지워집니다. Android에서는 설정 > 애플리케이션 > 한글 쓰기 > 저장공간 > 데이터 삭제로도 지울 수 있습니다. 광고 관련 정보는 3번의 방법으로 제한할 수 있습니다.

7. 아동의 개인정보

앱은 13세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 아동의 개인정보를 알면서 수집하지 않습니다.

8. 방침의 변경

이후 버전에서 정보를 다루는 방식이 바뀌면, 그 버전을 출시하기 전에 이 페이지와 시행일을 고칩니다.

Frequently asked questions

My writing is not accepted.

Follow the stroke order shown in the lesson and draw each stroke in one motion, in the right direction. The size and shape do not need to be perfect. While tracing, if a stroke is missed twice, it is accepted so you can keep going.

Do I need an internet connection?

No. Learning works fully offline. Ads load only when you are online.

Can I move my progress to a new phone?

Progress is stored only on your device, so there is no account to sync. It can carry over through your device's own backup and restore, depending on your settings.

How do I start over?

Uninstall and reinstall the app. On Android you can also clear the app's storage in system settings.

How do I change the language?

Open Settings (the gear on the home screen) and choose Language. The app supports 28 languages.

Is the app free?

Yes. The app is free with ads, and there are no in-app purchases.

학습에서 보여 주는 획순대로, 한 획씩 올바른 방향으로 이어서 써 주세요. 크기와 모양은 완벽하지 않아도 됩니다. 따라쓰기에서 같은 획을 두 번 놓치면 그 획은 통과로 처리해 계속 진행할 수 있습니다.

인터넷 연결이 필요한가요?

아니요. 학습은 인터넷 없이도 됩니다. 광고는 인터넷에 연결되어 있을 때만 나옵니다.

새 휴대폰으로 진도를 옮길 수 있나요?

진도는 기기 안에만 저장되고 계정이 없어서 동기화 기능은 없습니다. 설정에 따라 기기 자체의 백업과 복원으로 옮겨질 수 있습니다.

처음부터 다시 하고 싶어요.

앱을 삭제하고 다시 설치하세요. Android에서는 시스템 설정에서 앱 저장공간을 지워도 됩니다.

언어는 어떻게 바꾸나요?
